The collection

Made to enter daily life

We are building a small collection of useful, tactile objects for tea, rest, reflection, and the quiet transitions of the day.

These are not decorations for a borrowed atmosphere. They are tools to be held, poured from, unfolded, worn in, repaired, and returned to. Whenever possible, each piece will be accompanied by the name of its maker and a clear account of its materials, origin, and process.

We will name makers, regions, methods, and traditions when they are known, and never invent a story when they are not.

The collection will grow slowly through respectful relationships with makers, farmers, and producers.
